Mahendra Singh Dhoni
Mahendra Singh Dhoni has given many historic milestones to the Indian team. Under Dhoni’s captaincy, India has won the ICC World T20 (2007), Cricket World Cup (2011) and the ICC Champions Trophy (2013).
Apart from this, India became number one in Tests for the first time in 2009. In December 2014, Dhoni suddenly announced his retirement from Test cricket. Dhoni also retired from ODIs and T20 Internationals on 15 August 2020. After giving India so much success, Dhoni deserved the honour of the Farewell match. But no such arrangement was made for him.
Virender Sehwag
Virender Sehwag scored 8586 runs in 104 Tests for India at an average of 49.34. In which 23 centuries and 32 half-centuries are included. His best score is 319. Viru scored 8273 runs in 251 ODIs. In which 15 centuries and 38 half-centuries are included. Sehwag best score in this format is 219.
Apart from this, Viru scored 394 runs in 19 T20 matches in which 68 runs was his highest score. Virender Sehwag said goodbye to international cricket in 2015, but he did not get the honour of a farewell match.

Gautam Gambhir
Gautam Gambhir retired from international cricket in 2018 but did not get the honour of a farewell match. Gambhir was the hero of the 2007 T20 World Cup final against Pakistan and the 2011 ODI World Cup final against Sri Lanka. He represented India in 58 Tests in his international career and scored 4154 runs at an average of 41.95. Including nine centuries.
Gambhir has scored 5238 runs in 147 ODIs at an average of 39.68. In which he played a memorable inning of 97 runs in the final of the 2011 World Cup.
Due to this India won the World Cup for the second time. He scored 11 centuries in ODIs. Gambhir also made his mark in T20 Internationals. He scored 932 runs in 37 matches at an average of 27.41 with the help of seven half-centuries.
Rahul Dravid
Rahul Dravid retired from international cricket in 2012 after a poor performance on the Australia tour. Team India are the only two batsmen to have scored more than 10,000 runs in both Tests and ODIs. Apart from Sachin Tendulkar, Dravid has scored 13288 runs in Tests. In which 36 centuries and 63 half-centuries are included.

Left-arm pacer Zaheer Khan has been a part of the Indian fast bowling attack for a long time. Zaheer was injured for some time. Due to this, he was kept out of Team India.
Zaheer’s last Test was against New Zealand in February 2014, while the last ODI was against Sri Lanka at Pallikal in August 2012. After which he could not return to Team India. Zaheer Khan took 311 wickets in 92 Tests for India.
Zaheer took 282 wickets in 200 ODIs. Apart from this, he is 17 wickets fast in 17 T20 matches. Zaheer has taken more than 600 wickets in international cricket for India.
