Are they your best Premier League’s goal scorers?
English Premier League has exhibited legendary players. Among them all, strikers are the great entertainers who have provided the most memorable moments.
With 260 goals, Alan Shearer holds the record form most Premier League goals. Also, Ian Wright has accumulated 113 goals. All are good. But, who has been the greatest goalscorer of them all?
The Manchester City and Argentine forward has made 261 Premier League appearances for his club. With that in mind, he has netted 180 goals at 0.69 goals per game ratio.
Aguero is heading to his 32nd birthday and he stills bangs goals to his right, left and center. Will he outstand as your best goalscorer?
Cole has scored Premier League goals for six different clubs. However, his first profile season was his first when he scored 34 in 40 games for Newcastle between 1993-94.
He has made a total of 414 appearances and scored 187 goals at 0.45 goals per game ratio.
Drogba won 12 major honors with Chelsea-included are the four Premier League titles. He also scored in all nine cup finals that he played for Chelsea.
In total, he has made 254 appearances for the League, managed 104 goals with 0.41 goals per game ratio.
With that said, his goal ratio though, was not as good when compared to others. Nonetheless, there was much more to the game that attracted a fan towards him. He was out there helping the team and probably, this could be the reason why he didn’t score more.
In 2005, Thierry became Arsenal’s all-time leading goalscorer and broke Ian Wright’s record which he had set eight years earlier.
Thierry was a hybrid of a player. He not only scored goals but also assisted in scoring them too. He made 258 appearances, scored 175 goals with 0.68 goals per game ratio.
Basically, Thierry was elegant and so different.
In 2016-17, Kane scored 29 goals in 30 games at a ratio of 0.97. This was the best ever ratio in a single season by a Premier League Golden Boot winner.
With 201 appearances, Kane has scored 136 goals at a 0.68 ratio. More to the striker, he is an out-and-out goalscorer. If he had a midfield as Aguero has behind him, you can’t fathom what ratio he would score at.
Ronaldo scored 18 goals in 95 games in his first three Premier League seasons. Then, he made it 66 in 101 in his last three.
The Portuguese has been magnificent since he came inside from the wing. He made 196 appearances. 84 goals with a 0.43 ratio.
In his last two seasons of the Premier League, he scored 49 goals combined. Would it be on his whole career, Ronaldo would be in his own stratosphere. His statistics and abilities are all ridiculous.
Rooney won five Premier League titles. However, the 2009-10 and 2011-12 season where he scored more than 20 goals, United did not win the title.
491 is his total league appearances with 208 goals at 0.42 ratio. His journey through Everton as a kid, Rooney was everything everyone wanted to see in a footballer. He gave everything, no-one pushed him off the ball, he was skilled, phenomenal and scored goals.
He sacrificed himself in Man Untied in terms of playing in different positions for the team. Either, he was not selfish.
Suarez scored one of the best goals in the Premier League against Newcastle. He controlled a 60-yard pass on his shoulder. Before he moved for Barcelona, Suarez made 110 appearances in the Premier League, 69 goals and 0.63 goals per game ratio.
Still at Barcelona, Suarez is doing an incredible job.
