PSG has made a 100,000-euro donation to France’s Secours Populaire charity in a bid to show support amidst the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Paris St-Germain has shown a touch of class. The French Champions have made a donation to aid victims affected by the coronavirus.

The virus has spread through lots of countries across Europe with France ranking with the fifth highest mortality rate worldwide.

Money donated by PSG will help the affected children, the elderly and the homeless during this crisis.

It will also be used in support of doctors and the training of volunteers alongside.

Secours Populaire CEO, Thierry Robert reported, “The Secours Populaire Francais and our 80,000 volunteer fundraisers are very grateful for the support from Paris St-Germain.”

“Once again, PSG is responding to a call from our charity to help those victims of poverty or social exclusion.”

“This support will enable the Secours Populaire Francais to act quickly.  To relieve the suffering of those most affected by the consequences of this unprecedented crisis.”

Prior to the Ligue 1 suspension, PSG was top of the table. Two points ahead of second-placed Marseille despite having a game to play.
