Welshman Gareth Bale and Portuguese football manager Mourinho have not seen football the same way, Real Madrid star sports agent Barnett revealed.

What did Barnett say?

The Welshman rejoined the Spurs on a season loan in September 2020, seven years after leaving the club to join the Spanish giants Real Madrid. Gareth Bale scored 16 goals in 34 games in his last term North London outfit but ended up on and off the team under Jose Mourinho, who has publicly questioned his fitness level on a number of occasions.

Jonathan Barnett has now offered insight into the pair’s fragile relationship, admitting that they haven’t seen eye to eye when it comes to their philosophies on the game. Referring to Jose, who was fired by Tottenham in April and is now in a managerial hot spot in Rum, Gareth Bale’s agent said there was no fallout in the spurs. Barnett thinks they haven’t seen football the same way – Barnett is very diplomatic here. Let’s just say it wasn’t the best comeback in history.

Gareth returned to Real Madrid in the summer to see the final year of his contract, reuniting with former head coach Ancelotti. Carlo was drafted for a second spell at the Santiago Bernabeu following Zidane’s resignation, and Bale was initially given a prominent role in his plans before being sidelined by injury. Barnett, about Gareth Bale’s fresh start with Blancos, said he returned to Real Madrid and was immediately in the starting lineup. Sadly, Gareth Bale tore his hamstring, so it’s a long way back. It’s a shame that Carlo Ancelotti is back as a manager who was injured this season.

Gareth Bale aims to return to the field

Jonathan says Gareth Bale is committed to getting back on the field as soon as possible to help Wales qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. The 31-year-old’s chief legal representative feels a combination of injuries and lack of playing time under Zinedine Zidane before his return to Spurs, has put a stop to his career momentum as he added that it is a dream for him to play in the World Cup final against Wales. This is the most important thing for him, says Jonathan. Injuries and disagreements over the past few seasons with Zidane have held him back.
