Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech left the door open for a handover to Johan Cruyff ArenA.

What did Hakim Ziyech say?

Morocco International has admitted that it would like to return to Ajax at some point. Hakim completed a £ 36million move to Chelsea from Ajax in July 2020, but has since struggled to earn a regular starting XI spot. Morocco International has been linked to a departure from Stamford Bridge ahead of the January transfer window and has shown that it will be delighted to be able to return to Amsterdam.

The 28-year-old is still on a contract at Chelsea until 2025, but when asked if a second move to Ajax once holds any appeal, Hakim Ziyech said he would love to. Hakim Ziyech had a fantastic time there. This is the place where Hakim felt at home, and if it ever happens, the future will tell. If it depends on him, it will definitely happen.

According to Hakim Ziyech, it does not depend on him; Hakim leaves it to them. Hakim just tries to enjoy each day and do his own thing. Hakim Ziyech also said that what the future brings, they will see then. As Ziyech said, he hopes it will one day. Whether this will happen is not up to him.

A little about Hakim Ziyech

The Moroccan has established himself as an elite striker in European football at Ajax, primarily playing a key role in their run to the domestic double and the Champions League semi-finals in 2018-19. Chelsea supporters have never seen this kind of form from Morocco International as he recorded just nine goals and eight assists in his first 54 games while battling niggling injuries. Hakim has shown signs of improvement of late, however, scoring a 2-1 win over Watford before setting a goal for Mount in a 3-2 losing streak to the Blues at West Ham on Saturday.
