The Brazilian has signed a new contract that will keep him at Anfield until 2027.

Alisson Becker is pleased to make this decision

Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker is becoming the latest Reds star to dedicate a long-term future to the club, following in the footsteps of Alexander-Arnold and compatriot Fabinho who signed a five-year deal earlier this week. Alisson Becker has signed a six-year contract that will make him one of Liverpool’s highest earners, a reward for his excellent performances since joining Roma in 2018.

After signing the contract, Alisson Becker said that he and his family are really happy here. The Alisson children have settled in England, in another country, but they grow up that way. So they are really happy.

Alisson Becker is very happy that he can continue his work here, do a good job here. So he is very happy to make this decision – it is not hard for him. The 28-year-old has joined his teammates at the Reds’ pre-season training camp in France on Sunday and is set to play Thursday’s friendly against Bologna.

Alisson Becker added that they have to set goals and they have to set them high – winning everything they play for, the Champions League, the Premier League, cups, everything. Alisson thinks they can start from there, but obviously winning depends on what they bet on serve, what they bet on serve and they have to give at least 100 percent. If they can push harder, they will go.

Who else?

Alisson Becker won’t be the last Reds star to negotiate a new deal in the coming weeks, as Liverpool looks to tie up their key players. They hope to secure the future of both Mo Salah and Virgil van Dijk, whose current deals expire in 2023, and are expected to offer Andy Robertson, three years away, an improved contract too.

Initial negotiations with Captain Henderson proved unsatisfactory but will likely resume, while Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Alex Naby Keita have entered their respective deals in the last two years. Ben Davies will be on loan and Sheffield United is currently leading the race, while Divock Origi and Xherdan Shaqiri futures remain uncertain.
