Cristiano Ronaldo

Allegri turned to sending Ronaldo out of Juve after their hitting 1-0 defeat to Empoli on Saturday.

What did Allegri say about Cristiano Ronaldo?

Cristiano reached an agreement to re-enter Man Utd last week after informing Juventus officials of his desire to leave the club, with his three-year stint in Turin recruiting to officially end before the summer transfer window closes on 31 August.

The Portuguese made a cameo off the bench during Juventus’ 2-2 draw with Udinese in the opening weekend of the new Serie A season, but he was absent for their trip to Empoli, which ended up earning a 1-0 win against Allegri.

Juvenus boss admits that Cristiano Ronaldo left a big hole in his lineup, but remains confident that they will bounce back and enjoy a successful 2021-22 campaign. Massimiliano Allegri said that Cristiano Ronaldo spent three years at Juve, he scored goals that are very good, Ronaldo is an extraordinary player, but they cannot think of Cristiano from now on.

Allegri has a great roster, they just have to understand that they can’t just dominate every match. they need to come together and this will help them in the future. Allegri is always optimistic.

The Italian tactician added that what went wrong against Empoli, that the Guys started hard, lost at the first mistake after finishing the game, then they were too rushed. They must have the patience to take it calmly, play as a team and not try to solve things as individuals.

They need to work on our solidity, but these two slips will inevitably benefit them. This is a strong squad, it has values and they will gradually emerge. Empoli leave a lot of room on the fenders, but what they really did badly was technical mistakes because they were ugly.

They cannot assume that they will take the lead and control every game, they need the peace of mind that a great team has, knowing that they can undo it.

What will happen next?

Juventus will now have some time to reflect on their poor start to the season as the international hiatus takes effect and the Massimiliano side is not due to act again until 12 September away in Napoli.
