Alvaro Arbeloa, from next season, will receive a coaching role in the Academy of Real Madrid. The former Los Blancos, a right-back who graduated from the club’s academy, will take over the leadership of one of the 11 existing youth teams. There are 13 teams in the Real Madrid academy, but Raul and Dani Poyatos jobs as Castilla and U19 bosses seem guaranteed for the next season. That leaves the U18 side, as the highest Alvaro can go with his first job in managing. The Spaniard is presently learning for his Pro License with the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) remotely and will complete the first phase of the course in the coming weeks.

 

The second stage of the Pro License course will see Arbeloa as a coach of any team in the academy. In this case, in Real Madrid – either as a head coach or as an assistant to gain a year of experience.

As well as coming through Real Madrid and spending seven years on the first team later in his career. Arbeloa also played for Deportivo La Coruna, Liverpool, and West Ham. Currently serves as the club ambassador of Real Madrid. When Arbeloa nevertheless begins coaching at La Fabrica, he will be the second former player of the first team to work at the academy with Raul. Ex-Real Madrid academy graduate and first-team player Miguel Torres are also on the Arbeloa’s coaching course with the RFEF.
