Ange Postecoglou reportedly wants to offload 10 players in a major summer clear-out, with Hugo Lloris heading the list of players expected to leave.

Hugo Lloris has one year left on his contract. He recently held talks with Postecoglou about his future, and has previously spoken about seeking a fresh challenge elsewhere after 11 years in north London.

If Lloris does move on, he will be far from the only player shown the exit door as Postecoglou is aiming to get rid of at least 10 players ahead of next season.

Defenders Davinson Sanchez, Japhet Tanganga, Joe Rodon and Sergio Reguilon are likely to depart either on loan or permanently. The latter two spent last term at Rennes and Atletico Madrid respectively.

Academy graduate Harry Winks also doesn’t appear to have a future at the club after a disappointing loan spell at Sampdoria that saw the Italian side relegated from Serie A in 2022-23, while teenager Alfie Devine is set to go on loan to continue his development.

Meanwhile, Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele had their own respective loan spells last season, and are unlikely to be reintegrated into the Spurs squad.

There are also doubts over whether Ivan Perisic will remain at Spurs beyond this summer.

The Croatian international reunited with Antonio Conte in north London last summer after the pair won Serie A with Inter Milan together.

However, Perisic struggled for consistency in his maiden year in England, and having turned 34 in February, it is unclear as to whether he features in Postecoglou’s plans moving forward.

Tottenham are looking to bring in defensive reinforcements this summer after conceding a staggering 63 league goals last season, and have identified promising duo Micky van de Ven and Edmond Tapsoba as potential targets.

This has raised questions about Eric Dier’s role in the squad heading into next season, and he only has one year left on his contract.

A summer departure from the club he joined in 2014 has not been ruled out, but he is currently more likely to leave on a free in 2024 if he does not pen a new deal.

One player that Spurs are desperate to keep hold of is Harry Kane. Their star striker netted 30 league goals in 2022-23, and was one of the only players to finish the season with his head held high after the team finished down in eighth place.

Real Madrid and Manchester United have been linked with the forward, who is also moving into the final year of his Spurs contract, but Kane looks likely to stay, as things stand.

Son Heung-min is also in line to remain at Tottenham, despite interest from Saudi Arabia.

Kane and Son staying would be a major boost for Spurs, even though Tottenham fan Tom Holland recently begged the pair to leave so that they could go and win the Champions League together at Madrid.
