Ansu Fati admits that he still needs to be given a lot
Ansu Fati has become a permanent member of Barcelona’s first team despite being only 18 years old. And he agrees to continue to rely on other players for advice. The youngster noted two simple things when asked if he had any advice for younger players. “I am not alone to give advice, I still need to be given a lot,” Ansu Fati told Barca’s official club media. “But if there is one thing I can say, have the pleasure of playing football and enjoy it”. Ansu Fati came through La Masia academy, and he admits that he learnt a lot there. “For my family and me, La Masia was essential,” he said. “And my brother and I grown as footballers, and as people, with the help of the teachers, the residence staff and all the academy managers.”
When asked about his memories in the academy, Ansu Fati was left with only fascinating memories. “I have a lot, and outstanding ones,” he explained. “First of all, the ones that shared with my teammates in residence. The routine of going to school by bus in the morning, arriving at noon to eat together and prepare for the afternoon workout when it was time to do what we like best: play football.”
