Antonio is known for his ability to build a winning mentality wherever he has worked quickly

Antonio Conte’s future as Tottenham Hotspur’s head coach is in doubt following his outburst after the team’s 3-3 draw with Southampton on Saturday. Although his contract with the club is set to expire at the end of this season, there is a growing sense that he could depart much sooner. Despite some suggestions that he wants to be sacked, Conte’s comments are said to reflect his long-standing concerns about the team’s mentality and culture. He is known for his ability to build a winning mentality wherever he has worked quickly, and he is disappointed that he has not been able to do this at Spurs.

Tottenham have gone backwards

Conte believes that some players are content to stay in their comfort zone and settle for mediocrity, regardless of who the coach is. He also feels that the club’s culture could be more conducive to success. Last season, Tottenham finished strongly to overtake Arsenal, but they still need to build on that success this season. Meanwhile, Arsenal have bounced back with hunger and ambition, signing players with a winning mentality to improve their squad. In contrast, Tottenham have gone backwards. Mentality, attitude, and hunger have remained the same. New players have brought problems or complaints, and the players’ attitude has always been an issue at Spurs. This lack of progress is a source of frustration for Conte, who prides himself on building winning teams.

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is under pressure to reappoint Mauricio Pochettino as the team’s boss

Tottenham’s recent poor form has led to speculation about Conte’s future at the club. Some pundits, such as Jamie Carragher and Jamie Redknapp, believe that his position is becoming untenable. However, Gary Neville feel that he should be allowed to continue in his role. Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is under pressure to reappoint Mauricio Pochettino as the team’s boss, with several players and staff reportedly pleading with the Argentine to return and reinvigorate the club. However, it remains to be seen whether Levy will take any action against Conte in the short term.

Regardless of what happens in the coming days and weeks, it is clear that Tottenham must address their ongoing issues if they are to achieve success in the future. The team has yet to win a trophy since 2008, and their recent results suggest that major changes may be necessary if they are to compete at the highest level.
