Arsenal will complete the signing of the England International as soon as he returns from the holiday.

Arsenal were confident of a deal for Ben White

The Gunners are heading towards capturing Ben White after Brighton accepted a replacement bid. The Gunners have been locked in negotiations with the Seagulls for weeks over the 23-year-old and have already seen two proposals beaten back. But a breakthrough in negotiations on Friday saw the £ 50 million bid accepted and Arsenal is now being given clearance to complete the deal with England.

Arsenal have always been confident of a deal for Ben White, which has been the club’s top defensive goal this summer. Despite the fact that two previous applications were rejected, negotiations with Brighton have always remained friendly, and current negotiations have focused on the transfer structure.

Arsenal previously indicated to Brighton that they are willing to live up to their £ 50 million valuation, but agree on the exact structure of the deal and the various clauses and bonuses to be included. A full agreement was reached between the clubs on Friday and Arsenal can now finalize personal conditions with the player ahead of his move to north London.

There may be a little delay

There may be a slight delay at the end of the transfer as Ben White is currently on vacation after the end of Euro 2020. All players who were involved with England in the tournament were given three weeks off, although Ben White is expected to cut this short time at some point to complete his transfer and undergo medical examination.

Arsenal are currently training in Scotland and will travel back to London after playing the Rangers on Saturday before flying to America early next week to compete in the Florida Cup. Ben White, however, will not be involved in the US trip.
