The Gunners progressed to the quarters on a 3-2 despite losing 1-0 to Olympiacos on Thursday night. Mikel Arteta’s first leg away 3-1 win at Olympiacos was enough to push the gunners to the Europa League last eight.

“People take for granted that you play against any opponent and you’re going to be through because of the name of the club they represent. It’s not like that. Every team in Europe is really difficult to beat,” Arteta said.

“What we have to do, the way we are set up, the organization we have, and the way we want to play. We have to be much more efficient, much more simple, much more cohesive as a team,” he added.

On the other hand, Manchester United will take on Spanish side Granada in their quarters. Should the Red Devils progressed, there is a possibility they face Ajax or Roma in the last four.

Arsenal and Manchester United are now the only British side after the Rangers and Tottenham exited the competition Thursday night.

Meanwhile, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could not hide his happiness said he delighted with the win Milan victory. United needed Paul Pogba’s second-half strike to ease past AC Milan as the French midfielder return from injury.

Pogba came in after the break for injured Marcus Rashford and it took just 3 minutes to find the net. Manchester United Coach said it is important to have him back as the team had missed him.

“When you win a game of football away from home in a stadium like this, against a team like this, you’re very happy,” the United manager said.

Pogba, who came in to replace Rashford has been on the sideline for 40 days due to a Knee injury.  The former Juventus midfielder bounced strong, needing only 3 minutes to find the net.
