His contract ends this summer because, last year, he made the decision not to leave or renew. He feels strong to recover the right wing -where Valverde seems indisputable, due to meritocracy- and wants to continue at Real Madrid. That’s the summary. He seemed white and in a bottle: the open door was open (he has only played 130 minutes since Glasgow), but Ancelotti closed a lock at the last press conference: “He has trained well and I see him better than before the World Cup .
