Asensio wants to fight for his place at Real Madrid, Both Tottenham Hotspur and AC Milan looked to Real Madrid this summer in an attempt to bolster their squads ahead of the new season. The Italians extended Brahim Diaz’s loan spell at the club, but both sides showed strong interest in Marco Asensio, he decided to turn down the offers from quite huge teams, that are Tottenham and AC Milan, it seems like he tries to stay in Real Madrid at any cost.
Asencio and his return after a knee injury
The Spanish international decided against a move to either club, however, as he looks to focus on cementing a place in Real Madrid’s starting eleven after a period on the sidelines with a serious knee injury. Asensio is now in his sixth season in the Spanish capital and is determined to get back to the performance levels he showed two years ago before injury struck and Asencio is a powerful player and him departing from Real Madrid will probably be a big issue to say the least, he showed us great show and gameplay on field, before his knee injury, and it looks like he will try to show us the same, or even better performance than he had two years ago, the only problem that is kind of worrying is that knee injury is not easy, as any other body part injury, it may significantly affect a player in all ways, this is a big problem, because there is no way to do anything about it, he is cured already and he is ready for a game, but we have no idea how his performance will be, he still remains as a high tier player, but this injury may affect him on field.
Asencio’s future
Asencio is a great player as a whole, he has huge potential, and he has always tried to do his maximum in game, but we don’t know how this injury will affect him on field, nonetheless he will still try his best to play as he did two years, aka his prime.
