Chance for La Liga is still very big
As you may know, Real Madrid won the Madrid derby in the first round of La Liga. Atletico could not impact on the result of the game. Although the team lost the match, they still have a bigger chance to win the La Liga title than any other Spanish club. After a loss from Real Madrid, Atletico was in need of a good performance. Diego Simeone started the match with Joao’s and Luis’ duo. In the attacking line, Joao Felix and Luis Suarez were ready to score goals. Lemar was playing on the right wing and Carrasco was attacking from the left side. Luis Suarez opened the score-line in the first half. The Uruguayan forward scored a goal at the end of the first half.
Two goals from Atletico in second half
In the second half, Atletico Madrid started playing aggressively in the attack. Simeone’s team scored two more goals and they secured easy three points. Luis Suarez scored the second goal in the start of the second half. Suarez got a pass from Carrasco and scored an easy goal. In just three minutes, Elche decreased the lead of Atletico Madrid. Simeone was worrying about the goal from Elche. After Luis Suarez scored two, the coach was thinking already about the next match but Elche’s goal was not good for them. Atletico Madrid continued playing well in the attacking line and soon they scored three goals. Referee pointed to the penalty spot and Costa used that chance. Currently Atletico Madrid is in the top of the La Liga table.
