Australia Women Cruises To The Finals With An Easy Victory Over West Indies Women
Australia Women batted first and scored a mammoth total of 305 runs. Evidently, Australia women cruised to victory very easily. They defeated West Indies by 147 runs in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2022.
Australia Women are in the finals. They have been invincible throughout the tournament. The semi-final match was reduced to 45 overs due to the rain. Australia women started well, openers Healy and Haynes batted sensibly in the beginning.
For West Indies, Chinelle Henry and Shamilia Connell had their line and lengths accurate in the first 10 overs. Healy didn’t scored any boundaries in that period. However, as the field opened, Healy started to punish West Indies bowles as she notched her first Women’s World Cup century.

Three of the four top order batsmen of the Australia women’s team have scored centuries in the Women’s World Cup 2022. That’s a big reason why they are through to the World Cup finals and haven’t lost a single match.
The next semi-final is between England Women and South Africa Women. Up to a point in the earlier stages, England were out of touch but they are back in the form when it was most needed. Evidently, South Africa Women is a team of match winners and heavy hitters.
Also, South Africa Women defeated West Indies Women in the 13th match of the tournament. Surely, Australian fans will be elated that Australia Women are through the finals and looking strongest ever to lift the Women’s World Cup 2022 Trophy.
