Group G has some interesting teams. Despite not having a top tier nation in the Group, all the matches are exciting and driven. There are still four teams that can fight for the first position in Group.

Austria 6-0 Latvia

Latvia is the weakest team in Euro qualification by far. Before facing Austria, Latvia had only one goal scored and conceded 13 balls. It was a vital game for Austria as they had to win to keep the chance for 1st position.

From 75th minute, Austrian players started another period of aggressive attacks and scored three goals in 9 minutes. David Alaba and teammates were happy after a big win on Friday. Austrians have shown the real face of offensive attack and their mentality.

After five rounds, Poland is still topping the Group G. Lewandowski’s team has 12 points and scored eight goals. Austria, Slovenia, and Israel are behind Poland, but they still have a chance for 1st or 2nd position. Slovenia and Israel have 8 points each while Austria got 9 points in five matches.
