As you may know, Lionel Messi was in tears during the last press-conference. He admitted that after quite some time, he will come back to Barca to make the club greater than ever. What did he mean by these words? Well, everything depends on the side we look at. First of all, Lionel Messi can return to Barcelona but not for the next two seasons. Keep in mind that Lionel Messi signed a two years deal with PSG and he will stay in Paris for next two seasons. After two seasons, he will be a free agent and he can join Barcelona without paying big money. The Argentinian player will be 37 years old and of course he would have an open hearted welcome from the board of the management. Before the return, Messi has to play for Paris and win the titles. What could happen with Barca? The Catalonian club can’t depend on Messi anymore. Even if he returns, the player will be too old for the main characters. Koeman has to create a new structure in the club.
Focus has to go to the different side
Koeman already started preparations for a new season. Team looks really good because without Messi, Barca won 3-0 against Juventus. Keep in mind that Juventus had all the main players in the squad. Even Cristiano Ronaldo played in the squad but could not score a goal. Barcelona looks really good in the attacking line. Memphis Depay is doing everything and has very good attacking options. Along with Memphis Depay, Barca has many options. Antoine Griezmann and Coutinho are ready to play again. There is also Sergio Aguero and Braithwaite who can score many goals.
