Bartomeu is not happy with the investigation of Barca’s current management

As you may know, Laporta had a big press-conference two days ago. With the big team (financial team, lawyers, etc.), Laporta explained how Bartomeu destroyed Barcelona’s financial future for this decade. Bartomeu did not wait a minute and he returned with big statements. 

Nothing is true admits Bartomeu

The former president of Barcelona sends allegations to the Prosecutor’s Office after  the press conference on the Forensic and affirms that “it does not fit the truth”. One day after Joan Laporta presented to the press -“grosso modo”, as the club’s lawyer Jaume Campaner defined – the conclusions of the Forensic report on the actions of the previous directive that could be susceptible to crime and that have been sent to the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office of Barcelona to investigate them, it is Josep Maria Bartomeu’s turn to reply.

The former president of Barcelona has presented a brief of allegations to the Prosecutor’s Office advanced Spanish newspapers in which he demands that a copy of the aforementioned Forensic be delivered to him to analyze whether the facts that are narrated by FC Barcelona could constitute a crime of libel and slander or basis for a claim for protection of the right to honor and dignity.

He will do everything to explain situation

Bartomeu affirms that from what has been reported in the media after the press conference “the public demonstrations do not conform to the truth of what happened during the period of the previous Board that I chaired” . Bartomeu adds in his letter that he makes himself available to the Barcelona Provincial Prosecutor’s Office to facilitate any investigative work that may be carried out. Bartomeu believes that the whole press-conference was just a show to justify current management’s bad decisions made in the last couple months. Let’s see how the situation goes as Barcelona’s prosecutors are already doing their job and the investigation will be finished soon.
