The life after World Cup
He said that he was very proud of it. But you can’t be satisfied because we went there with the intention of winning. And I really felt like we had an opportunity to do it. Especially after we passed against Senegal. There were only three games left. If we had beaten France and gone through, who knows what would have happened. I enjoyed the pressure of the matches and the responsibility that the coach gave me. My best game was probably against Senegal, when I had more freedom. It was nice to play so freely.
Improving and Work Ethic
I’m a little more decisive now when I get to the last third. I can influence the game. When you add that up, it’s a lot more valuable to the team and affects the bottom line. That is something that has improved a lot. And I would say that I have improved a bit of everything. I still have a long way to go though, with all sorts of little things. I can position myself better. I can steal more balls. And even though I’ve started scoring more often now, I still think I can do even better. To be honest, there were a couple of games where I missed scoring chances. I messed up and was very upset for a couple of weeks after that. I have the mentality that I can improve in everything.
