Following a terrible spell, the ex-Spurs star is ‘to be sent back to Everton from Besiktas if his performances don’t improve’

It has been claimed that Besiktas are contemplating pulling the plug on the loan arrangement that Dele Alli has with the club. Alli joined Besiktas from Everton less than five months ago.

After enduring a terrible period of time at Goodison Park, Alli moved to Besiktas in late August with the intention of resurrecting his career.

On the other hand, he has not been able to recapture his best form in Turkey and has only appeared in nine games across all competitions for his new team.

According to a report, Besiktas are reportedly already having second thoughts about Alli and are considering loaning him back to Everton because of their concerns. According to the source, Alli has until the end of the month to improve his performances; else, there is a significant possibility that Besiktas will start talking with Everton about him returning to the Premier League. Alli’s current contract with Besiktas expires at the end of the month.

Alli’s tenure in Turkey got off to an auspicious start when he scored his first goal for the team in just his second encounter after joining.

That was the first time in over a year that he had found the net, and it him hope that things will be better in the future.

That was as good as it got, however, as he was hauled out at half time when Besiktas played Umraniyespor in late October, with the manager Senol Gunes declaring the former Tottenham star has fallen ‘below expectations.’ That was the last time he played for Besiktas.

After he was taken off the field in the 29th minute of his team’s final game before Christmas, which was a Turkish Cup match, Alli was jeered by the fans of his own team as he walked off the field.

After the game, he took to social media to express his undying adoration for football and his determination to continue his participation in the sport.

However, this did not persuade his manager to play him again, and he was an unused substitute in Besiktas’s following two matches. Time appears to be running out for Alli to establish his worth in Turkey, and it is likely that he will leave the club soon.
