Zinedine Zidane has a covid. He was tested positive for covid-19 last week and could not attend press-conferences or games. Once again David Bettoni was the main-speaker during the press-conference. He answered many questions related to Real Madrid.
Sergio Ramos’ contract renewal
David Bettoni said that he is happy with the captain’s performance. Whole team feels that Sergio Ramos is the leader of the squad, so he will stay in Madrid. Bettoni noted that there is no issue with the contract renewal. Head-coach’s assistant said that he is not worrying about Ramos’ contract case. The only thing that matters is the happiness of Ramos for being in Madrid.
“Language of football is different”
Journalists asked Bettoni about Luka Jovic’s statement. As you may know, Luka said that there was a language barrier. That was very bad for Luka and he could not acclimatize with the club on time due to language barriers. Bettoni said that the language of football is very simple. He noted that lots of players talk different languages but they understand one universal language – football. So, he noted that there were no problems with the language, especially with Luka Jovic.
Dani Carvajal will not play against Levante
David Bettoni admitted that Dani is not feeling good. Journalists asked him about Dani’s situation. He was recovered from the injury but is not included in the squad against Levante. David said that the situation is not serious with the discomfort. It’s just a minor knock in the left leg. Bettoni said that the team will try best to cover the position of Dani Carvajal. He will be absent only for a few days and can play in the next round.
