Christian Eriksen was seriously threatened with health when he represented his country at the European Championships.

A little about Christian Eriksen

The Danish footballer who suffered a cardiac arrest at Euro 2020 has returned to football at Brentford, with the bees handing the Danish midfielder a short-term deal until the end of the 2021-22 campaign. Christian Eriksen had a serious health scare when he represented his country at the European Championships in the summer of 2021 and, after being fitted with a defibrillator, has been sidelined from competitive action ever since. Regulations in Italy prevented him from contacting Inter, with whom his deal had to be terminated at the San Siro, but the former Tottenham star is clearly resuming his PL career.

What did Frank say about Christian Eriksen?

Danish football coach Thomas Frank, who has worked with Christian in Denmark’s national youth system, told the club’s official website that he looks forward to working with Eriksen again. It’s been a long time since Frank last coached him and a lot has happened since then. According to Thomas Frank, Eriksen was then 16 years old and one of the best midfielders to emerge in the PL. Christian Eriksen also won trophies all over Europe and became the star of the Danish national team.

They took an incredible opportunity to bring a world class player to Brentford. Christian Eriksen didn’t train with the team for seven months, but did a lot of work on his own. Eriksen is coming up but they will need him to come up and Thomas is looking forward to him working with players and staff to get back to his highest level.

At best, Eriksen has the ability to dictate football games. Christian Eriksen can find the right passes and is a threat to the target. Christian also has very, very good delivery of items, both from corners and direct free kicks. According to Thomas Frank, Christian Eriksen is a player who can be found with the ball and will come up with a solution to the problem in front of him.

Eriksen will also bring top level football experience to the club. Frank expects him to make an impact in the dressing room and on the range. Brentford’s director of football, added that they first discussed the possibility of Christian coming to Brentford when they heard that he would be leaving Inter. according to Phil Giles it’s fantastic that he’s with them now.

Naturally, the process of signing Christian was longer than most transfers. Phil understands that many people will have questions about the process. To respect Eriksen’s medical confidentiality, they will not go into details.

Brentford fans can rest assured that they have made significant efforts to ensure that Eriksen is in top shape to return to competitive football. Now Eriksen has made the decision to sign for Brentford, all parties want to focus entirely on football. They are confident that Eriksen will have a big impact at Brentford and on the PL until the end of the season.
