New Zealand will host a Day Night Test for the second time against England at Bay Oval in February 16-20 2023. The last time the two teams came face to face in a Day Night Test at Eden Park, England were all out for just 58 runs with Trent Boult and Tim Southee wreaking havoc.

Sri Lanka To Lead With Spinners, Australia To Prove Their Resistence In Sub Continent

New Zealand will play the first Test of their home season at the Bay Oval. This is followed by the second Test against England in Wellington from 24-28 February and then two matches against Sri Lanka in Christchurch (9–13 March) and Wellington (17–21 March). Recently, the Kiwis have been seen struggling a lot in Tests, these Test matches will show them a way to make a comeback.

New Zealand’s season begins with a T20I tri-series involving Bangladesh and Pakistan in preparation for the World Cup in Australia. The entire tournament will be staged in Christchurch from 7-14 October. After the World Cup, India will take on Tasman for three T20Is and three ODIs from November 18-30.

The men’s team will then tour Pakistan and India overseas during December and January, before returning for the latter part of their home summer, ending with the final T20I against Sri Lanka on 8 April. It is again likely that white ball matches will clash with the IPL at the end of the season.

The women’s team will play three T20Is and three ODIs against Bangladesh during December. After that they will be in South Africa for the T20 World Cup in February.

Overall, it is going to be a busy season for New Zealand. A wonderful team that has won the ICC World Test Championship tournament seems to be in trouble lately.
