Playing both goalkeepers throughout the season

Spanish goalkeeper was the starter in La Liga and played both seasons from the first minute. Iker was playing only in the Champions League and Copa Del Rey. Keep in mind that Real Madrid won only the Champions League and Copa Del Rey in the first spell of Carlo Ancelotti. He had a big headache because Real Madrid fans wanted to have Iker Casillas in the starting line-up of La Liga.
New era of Carlo Ancelotti in Madrid
Currently, there is only one top-tier goalkeeper in Madrid. Thibaut Courtois is ready to dominate Madrid again. He was the main player for Real Madrid’s success the last two seasons. Courtois had many saves two seasons ago when Real Madrid won La Liga title with Zinedine Zidane. Carlo Ancelotti knows that Thibaut will be an undisputed choice for the goalkeeper position. Along with Courtois, Real Madrid has Lunin who can also defend well. The youngster from Ukraine can do everything perfectly on the pitch. That’s why Carlo believes that the goalkeeper position is in safe hands. Carlo knows that Courtois does not have to prove anything to anyone in Madrid. He was the top-tier player of Madrid in the last two seasons and Carlo wants to keep the same pace in next season too.
