Carlo Ancelotti is the new coach of Real Madrid. Perez already signed a contract with the Italian legendary coach.

Attacking football

Ancelotti had a press-conference already. He met not only Real Madrid’s official journalists but also Spanish newspapers. Journalists asked Carlo about different things – including attacking football. As you may know, Real Madrid is struggling with goals. Keep in mind that Zinedine Zidane transformed the football of the team when he saw that there were not many goal-scorers. For instance, Real Madrid’s main striker is Karim Benzema. French striker can score 25 goals every season but it’s very low for Real Madrid. Karim is the only player that goes beyond 10 goals in the last three seasons. After Ronaldo’s departure, everyone knew that problem could be related to goal scoring. That’s why Real Madrid signed Vinicius, Rodrygo, Hazard but they all failed. In total, these players scored not more than 15 goals last season in all tournaments. It’s a very low number of the goals from the main attacking players of the team.

Carlo’s opinion and struggle

Italian coach was Real Madrid’s head-man for two seasons. Back in 2014, he signed for Real Madrid and lead to La Decima to the Champions League. Carlo’s Real Madrid was playing very attacking football. Keep in mind that Carlo had Ronaldo, Benzema, Di Maria and Gareth Bale. It’s obvious that the team would play attacking football. In this case, he is left with only Karim Benzema who is 7 years older than previous time. That’s why Carlo has to think about a different option. Zidane left the team because he saw that the team was not going to sign big transfers this summer. What would be the option for Carlo Ancelotti in this case? He will struggle without a new striker. If Real Madrid misses a chance for Erling and Kylian, they may end up without scoring 60 goals next season.
