Nobody knows what happened in the middle but it was a bit of dram. Earlier, David Warner seemed to be in clashing mode with the Hurricanes’ captain Matthew Wade.
Later during post match talk, Chris Green and Matthew Wade came out and explained the situation. It was nothing serious from their point of view, just heat of the game got better both of them. “I think we’re alright. I can’t hit him. That was more my frustration,” Matthew Wade said. Things were more calm after the match as Hobart Hurricanes defeated Sydney Thunder by 4 wickets.
Chris Green sais about the incident: “it’s all good. I think we knew we were under par on a really good wicket and you know we are both fierce competitors on the field and and don’t want to to give a look a look in. So I’m trying to create something out of nothing but yeah there’s no interest there.”
Look, both of us played the game competitively on the field and and we have a lot of passion for our team and it’s coming into to crunch moment in this tournament, so you know, there’s a lot of feeling.
“To me, there’s nothing to make obvious. There’s no issue. I mean, honestly, if you want to keep digging there, there, there’s there’s nothing there. We both played with feeling on the field, as I said. And yeah, I mean, I’ve got no issues with him personally. And you know, we walk away from the game. It’s off the field now, Green said.

It was another disappointing batting performance by Sydney Thunder who have failed to score big totals on board. Ot started when they batted against Sydney Sixers and couldn’t reach 140, then Perth Scorchers demolished them for 108. Now, it Hobart Hurricanes who restricted them under 135 on a good wicket.
For Hobart Hurricanes, Nathan Ellis picked a hat-trick, removing Davies, Cutting and McAndrew on successive deliveries. Big Tim David picked his form at the business end of the tournament. He scored 76 off 41 balls with 5 huge sixes.
Hobart Hurricanes and striding upwards while Sydney Thunder are going nowhere in the competitive after having prolific mid season.
