Rumours claiming that Christian Pulisic will quit Chelsea at the conclusion of the season have been debunked by the player.

This season, the 23-year-old Pulisic has slid down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge. In all competitions, he has only made 15 appearances, scoring six goals and assisting four others.

Despite his lack of playing time, Pulisic has stated that he is content with the club and has no plans to leave anytime soon. He said in a press conference before Chelsea’s Champions League match against Real Madrid: “I’m at ease here”.

“While I’ve been here, we’ve accomplished a lot. I’m having a good time with my football. Right now, I’m not concerned about it (a transfer).”

Pulisic’s contract has two years left on it, although a number of clubs are apparently interested in signing him.

Juventus were rumored to be interested in signing the winger last month.

Since the Italian giants were sanctioned by the UK government, they have been watching the crisis build at Chelsea and hope to capitalise by making an offer.

If Pulisic’s luck does not improve, he may be persuaded to leave West London.

He confessed in January that he was having trouble securing a consistent spot in the starting lineup.

He said during a press conference for the United States National Team: “Obviously, there has been a lot of ups and downs this year. Right now, I’m not exactly where I want to be or how I want things to be.

“I’ll simply keep going, and it won’t bother me when I get here. So I’m quite happy to be here.

“When I arrive at the national team, the first question I am asked is, “How are things with Chelsea?” as well as ‘What is this?’ and ‘What is that?’ It’s a challenge.

“Mentally, it has taken its toll on me at times, but I am always ecstatic to be a part of the national team and have the opportunity to play with these players and enjoy football in general.

“It’s a challenge. I haven’t always been able to play in the spots that I desire. However, I believe that versatility and the ability to play in a variety of positions and with a variety of skills on the pitch are valuable qualities.

“I’ve learnt a lot, and I’m eager to maybe be in a position where I’m more comfortable over the next few games.”

Chelsea may lose some key players this summer as a result of the punishments.

Cesar Azpilicueta and Andreas Christensen are preparing to relocate to Barcelona.

Antonio Rudiger is also expected to leave, and Manchester United and Juventus have expressed interest in him.
