Turin side are interested in Pulisic

The transfer market is progressing, and every day, there is talk that certain players will be moving on ahead of the upcoming season. In the case of Christian Pulisic, his future does not seem to be in England. For several weeks now, there has been talk of a move away from Chelsea, but with no clear destination. According to Tuttosport, the American player is wanted by Juventus in an intriguing transfer. The Blues want Matthijs de Ligt, and the Turin side are interested in Pulisic. However, neither of them are looking to lose out on the deal, least of all Chelsea. Therefore, the condition is that if De Ligt leaves, then it will be for either Pulisic or Timo Werner to ensure it is a transaction that suits everyone.

Christian has a contract until 2024 with Chelsea

The clubs would bring in both players to cover for departures. The Dutchman would be replacing Antonio Rudiger and the American to fill Paulo Dybala’s shoes. Pulisic has a contract until 2024 with the Blues, but it seems he will not stay to finish the deal. This transaction, though, will not be an easy one, as the swapping of players could stall the negotiation if it does not suit one of the clubs. At the start of the summer, there was talk that Christian Pulisic was of interest to Liverpool, given Sadio Mane’s departure from the club. However, the arrival of Darwin Nunez extinguished that option, and it was all but ruled out. Borussia Dortmund are also keeping an eye on what might happen. Pulisic played there in his early days in European football, and there is a potential option to return to the Bundesliga.

Christian Pulisic’s last season with Chelsea was much like his previous ones: 22 games played, 13 of them starts. He had six goals scored, and he logged just over 1,200 minutes in the Premier League. In European competitions, he played seven games in the Champions League, where he scored only two goals, both against Lille.
