Christophe Galtier would like to keep Neymar’s services but understands the player can leave regardless.
What did Christophe say about Neymar?
PSG’s new head coach has admitted that while he would like to keep the Brazilian’s services, the final decision is not entirely in his hands. Galtier recently took over from Pochettino, who left this summer after a year and a half with the Ligue 1 giants. The ex-Nice manager has made it clear that the club will make the final decision on Neymar’s future.
The new PSG manager said yes, he was clear. According to Christophe Galtier, there are many things in this area that he cannot control. Christophe added that he is looking to cut down on the Ligue 1 champions who have a long list of players on their roster.
Christophe Galtier said that they have 26 or 27 players besides the goalies, which is huge. There are players for whom the spaces will shrink. They spoke to them. It was not an easy exercise.
These are the players they need to respect. Christophe Galtier says they will start this season with 21 outfield players and a few younger ones. The big clubs that perform at a very high level are the ones that manage to integrate the best young people into an experienced and quality workforce.
A little about Kimpembe
French player Christophe Galtier is another star who could leave the club this summer. Blues head coach Thomas Tuchel is reportedly interested in signing the player as the manager wants to rebuild his defense following the departures of Ruediger and Christensen to Real Madrid and Barcelona respectively.
Christophe Galtier said he read everything about Presnel Kimpembe. They even laughed about it together. According to Christophe, he likes Kimpembe – he is a great center back, but he does not know what will happen. Paris Saint-Germain played a pre-season friendly on Friday against Ligue 2 board Quevilly Rouen who won 2-0. Djeidi Gassama and Sergio Ramos are on target with Le Parisien.
