Pirlo ruled out a summer move from Juve to Paulo Dybala, with the Bianconeri boss confident that the Argentine international will not move on despite his contract’s final year approaching.

Paulo Dybala is an important player

Fresh conditions for the talented 27-year-old have been given for some time now, while talk of transfer has never been far in the last windows. Andrea Pirlo is reluctant to pursue what could hold off a long-term future, but he hopes to see injury problems for Paulo as he nails a regular role in Turin alongside Ronaldo and Alvaro Morata.

Quizzed by Paulo Dybala ahead of Serie A’s clash with Genoa on Sunday, Andrea Pirlo said that he always said that Paulo Dybala is an important player and unfortunately he hasn’t had a lot of it at his disposal this season. Pirlo says it is necessary to look at the present, because it is more important than the future and that he still has a year left on his contract, so they will have him here next season. Paulo is the player who makes the difference. Andrea added that he hopes to be able to use Cristiano, Alvaro Morata and Paulo Dybala together at some point and he can say that Dejan Kulusevski will probably start tomorrow.

Chiesa is hungry for trophies and wants to learn.

The Juventus legend did not enjoy the lightest of debut campaigns at the helm of the Bianconeri, with the Serie A title threatened to slip through his grip. Andrea, however, saw Federico Chiesa shine on the back of his arrival from Fiorentina last summer. The 23-year-old has scored 12 goals this season, along with nine assists, with shares continuing to skyrocket with Juventus and Italy.

Andrea said to a player who still has a lot of unlocking potential that Federico Chiesa is excellent in one-on-one situations, but he can still improve in situations and control the pace. He is hungry and wants to learn, which is great to know he added.
