Another case of coronavirus was detected in Atletico Madrid. This time it is the head coach of the club, Diego Simeone.
According to the official website of Atletico, another test was conducted on the coronavirus at the club. After that it was found out that the coronavirus of Diego Simeone was confirmed. Fortunately, Simeone has no symptoms, feels well and is being treated at home.
Diego will not be allowed to return to the team until repeated tests show a negative response. As already mentioned, the coronavirus at Atletico was also confirmed a few days ago to Diego Costa and Santiago Arias.
A case of the virus at the Madrid club was revealed earlier (a month ago) when it became known that the virus had been detected by Angel Correa and Shime Vrsalko.
It is currently planned that Atletico Madrid will hold the next match on September 15, against Cadiz, and it will be friendly. The La Liga match on September 20 has been postponed. So, Madrid will open the new season of the Spanish Championship on September 27 against Granada.
