Even though Coutinho went under the knife because of his knee injury he is still practicing in Barcelona, the club is not certainly happy with his performance as a whole, so if he doesn’t get sold, he will get his wage shortened, again if he continues to play in the same fashion as he did last season’s.
Coutinho’s situation in Barcelona
It is not yet clear if Ronald Koeman will count on Countinho’s services as the club look to cash in and cut their wage bill. Philippe Coutinho Correia is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or winger for La Liga club Barcelona and the Brazil national team. He is known for his combination of vision, passing, dribbling and ability to conjure curving long-range strikes, and the thing with Coutinho is that Barcelona kind of wants to sell him, but at the same time it seems like it’s not going to happen, why does this happen actually? Well we already know why they wanted to sell him, but why is nobody buying him? Quite actually sincerely it’s the same reason as why they want to sell him, because of the poor gameplay and performance, even though Barcelona stated that they were selling both Griezmann and Coutinho for only financial reason, it’s obvious that financial reason is the one part of the whole picture, the second is as already mentioned mediocre gameplay, but right now it looks like Barcelona has rethinked their action and they may leave Griezmann and Coutinho, but with lower wages, and actually it’s a great idea. Their wage really didn’t represent their performance.
Future of Coutinho
At this point it’s quite obvious that Coutinho is going to stay in Barcelona, but if he goes on with his playstyle as it’s, there will be no good ending to him for sure, his mediocre games will give him nothing good in his career to say the least, but we suggest that he will probably have to evolve at some point to be in any pro team.
