Blockchain technology has become more and more important in our society in recent years. Whether through fan tokens, partnerships, or Non Fungible Token (NFT), the sports sector is one of the most impacted by this rise in power.

The ICC and Faze have launched a collaboration to generate exclusive digital souvenirs of the most memorable moments from ICC tournaments.

Fans may collect NFTs of some of the most talked-about shots, catches, and wickets from ICC events thanks to a unique experience that combines the ICC’s extensive collection of historical cricket moments with cutting-edge technology on the Flow blockchain.

This is not the first time that the Mancunian player has been linked to this technology. During his Turin adventure, a bonus to celebrate his 770 career goals was paid to him in Juve fan token, the $JUV. Also, Cristiano Ronaldo is not the only renowned footballer to invest in the blockchain. A few weeks ago, PSG midfielder Marco Verratti bought an island in The Sandbox metaverse, while his teammates Neymar and Leandro Paredes were particularly fond of NFT.
