Cristiano Ronaldo has missed three consecutive days of Manchester United’s preseason training, leaving the club in the dark as to whether he will join the squad on their preseason tour of Asia and Australia.

Ronaldo cited family issues for his absences on Monday and Tuesday, after informing the club on Saturday that he intends to depart in the summer, and he refused to train once again on Wednesday.

Erik ten Hag is preparing his side to embark on a preseason tour on Friday, with the first game scheduled for July 12 in Bangkok against Liverpool. However, it is not yet known whether Ronaldo will travel with the club.

Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and Napoli are all on high alert and considering a move for the unsettled superstar, with Chelsea’s new owner Todd Boehly already meeting with agent Jorge Mendes to discuss a possible transfer.

Mendes has been in contact with Bayern and Serie A powerhouse Napoli in recent weeks to determine if there is a market for his client, but no deal has been reached as of yet.

United’s players reported for training on Wednesday, but Ronaldo, who has not returned to Carrington since the summer break, was once again absent.

Ronaldo has informed Manchester United that he desires to leave the club this summer if a good offer is made, due to his concerns that United are not progressing quickly enough.

According to reports, the 37-year-old still has an affinity for the club, but he wants to play in the Champions League at this point in his career and does not see that happening at Old Trafford.

United is not interested in selling Ronaldo and has not yet received an inquiry. They have emphasized that the striker is still under contract and hope that he fulfills his obligations.

Despite the fact that the player’s representative Jorge Mendes has met with numerous clubs in recent weeks, there is a restricted market for a player earning approximately £480,000 per week.
