During this Big Bash League season, Michael Hussey is part of the commentry team while David Hussey is working as a coach for Melbourne Stars.
During the BBL match between Melbourne Stars and Perth Scorchers, the Hussey brothers got into a comical argument and started shooting each other. And it was so hilarious and witty banter.
On Thursday night’s Fox Cricket telecast, the legendary Australian cricketers traded blows with one another and had the commentators in stitches.
While commentating, Mike Hussey crossed to Stars coach David down on the boundary rope with Brian Lara and Corbin Middlemas.
Mike: G’day David it’s your brother Michael here, merry Christmas.
David: You’re no brother of mine, you’re a disgrace of a human being, I’ve heard what you’ve been saying about me. You and I are finished.
Mike: I heard you were bagging me last time you were on commentary.
David: Yes, true.
Mike: Say G’day to mum for us.
David: She doesn’t like you mate, you’re out of the will. You’re out.
While it was all fun and games in the commentary booth, and everyone enjoyed it. On the other hand, for the Stars, it was another disappointing batting performance that cost them fourth match of this season.
They were handed six-wicket defeat by in blistering form Perth Scorchers who are now at the top of the points table.
