Happy birthday to the man who is in most prolific form of his career. Currently, he is the most talked foreign cricketers. it has been so like this since the beginning of the Indian Premier League. On Thursday, he played leading role in chasing down the 203 target posted by team India at Arun Jaitley stadium. Let’s take look back at his most memorable innings in T20 cricket on his birthday

David Miller scored the fastest century in Twenty20 international cricket, South Africa thrashed Bangladesh for 83 runs in their second and final Twenty20 International match at Senwes Park. He finished 101 off 36 balls against Bangladesh in T20I 2.

His fastest century of all time off 35 balls included five consecutive sixes. In total Miller smashed seven fours and nine sixes.

Miller’s hundred on 35 balls propelled South Africa to 224-4 before Bangladesh were bowled out for 141, ending South Africas clean sweep of two Tests, three One Day Internationals and two T20 internationals.  Bangladesh were 141 all out in 18.3 overs, another tough loss in what has been a challenging five-week tour for the visiting side.

After 35 deliveries were bowled out by the lively South African, Miller raised his bat in celebration, having scored not just his maiden century in the format at that level, but the fastest international run scored in the format.

Miller fell when he reached a full-length Rubel delivery, which he sent in for four, then edged the full-length toss for another four, before a pair of twos took him to the hundred. Hashim Amla took on short balls, which Bangladesh offered plenty, and gave Miller plenty of time to settle. Just when Amla looked set to convert his half-century into a century, he was caught by Soumya Sarkar off a delivery from Mohammed Saifuddin for 85, which came from 51 balls and included 11 boundaries and one six.

David Miller struck a double off Rubel Hossain, and then edged a shot to wide of long-on for a brace, before eventually driving one wide to cover off the sweeper, for two, and made the quickest T20I century ever in t20I, from just 35 balls. With three runs to go — this was just over 18 — and David Miller on 95, he needed a big shot to make a century, and he duly sent a long-off ball across the slips to score his marker in trademark style.
