The Callao movie theatres in Madrid played host to the highly anticipated Spanish premiere of “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse,” the sequel to the Oscar-winning “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.” The event saw the attendance of numerous well-known figures from the worlds of cinema, entertainment, and sports. Among the notable guests was David Villa, the former player of Valencia, Atletico Madrid, and Barcelona, as well as a dozen tokenists from Socios.com, the Fan Token platform. After engaging in a Meet & Greet session with the tokenists, Villa took the opportunity to speak to Miguel Quintana for ‘La pizarra de Quintana’ on Radio. Prior to watching the film, he shared his thoughts on the current state of football, particularly focusing on Valencia.
David expressed his pride and satisfaction with the documentary’s outcome
“We’re all feeling the pain,” Villa expressed. “You can imagine how I celebrated Valencia’s recent goals. The last-minute goal against Elche and the one at home with my entire family. The truth is that we are experiencing more suffering than Valencia fans anticipate or deserve.” Villa also found time to discuss his football-related projects, including the documentary titled ‘Origen,’ which explores Spanish academies and has been filmed in various cities, featuring several prominent personalities. Villa expressed his pride and satisfaction with the documentary’s outcome. “It’s heartwarming to return to places where you have experienced so much joy, where people have shown you immense love and continue to do so,” Villa remarked. Furthermore, Villa shared details about his latest venture as the owner of Racing Club de Futbol Benidorm.
“Benidorm has welcomed us with open arms, and the entire community has been incredibly supportive. Our goal is to contribute to the club’s growth,” Villa added. “However, this doesn’t necessarily mean that we will aim for the first, second, third, or even the last category. We want to take things step by step, with humility.”
