Deadline day is approaching for Kylian Mbappe
Deadline day is approaching, and Real Madrid doesn’t want to wait much longer to complete the signing of Kylian Mbappe, which is why they have reportedly issued Paris Saint-Germain an ultimatum. After submitting an improved offer of 170 million euros, plus 10m euros in add-ons, on Thursday, Real Madrid is still waiting on a response from PSG, and it’s pretty worrying at this point.
Kylian Mbappe’s situation
The thing with Kylian Mbappe’s case is that we have no idea when it will all go down. He has been waiting for an answer from PSG regarding the whole thing. Still, the only thing that they said is that they will not be getting in Mbappe’s way. There is two as this can play out at this point, PSG come and officially talk about the second offer of Real Madrid, the recommendation being 170 Million euros plus 10m euros in add-ons, well this is pretty much the whole problem, everyone is ready at this point except PSG they have said absolutely nothing regarding the offer, even Real is straight-up confused what to do. The transfer window closes down on the 31st of August, and it’s worrying what is going on at this point. Almost everyone who had to say something about the situation has said their word about the whole thing. Perez, Ancelotti, and many others have already expressed their opinions about the case, but not PSG officials.
Future of this circumstance
Florentino Perez wants the signing to be completed as soon as possible and wants PSG to either accept the bid or, if not, then to communicate this to Real Madrid, who will then look to agree with a pre-contract agreement with the player in January, once he enters the final six months of his current contract. He could then arrive for free in the summer of 2022, but if everything goes the right way, we will undoubtedly see an official announcement in a few days.
