It is worth noting that the entire season of IPL 2020 was played in UAE due to increasing cases of Corona in India, while half of IPL 2021 had to be postponed due to Corona cases. The first part of IPL 2021 was played in India, while the second part of the 14th season of IPL was held in UAE. Now IPL 2022 is being held only in Mumbai and Pune in Saks Bio-Bubble.

After the news break out, cancel IPL started to trend on Twitter. However, cancellation is not even in perspective considering the current environment and pace of the IPL.
