Delhi Capitals will now face Gujarat Lion in the 8th match of IPL 2022. Gujarat Titans have already proved their mettle after defeating KL Rahul-led Lucknow by five wickets in the first match. Surely, Delhi Capitals will not make the mistake of taking Gujarat Titans lightly.

Gujarat Titans had defeated another new team Lucknow Supergiants in the last match. However, their real test in IPL will be against Delhi Capitals. Gujarat and Delhi started with victories in the 15th IPL. Both teams will be eyeing to continue their winning campaign at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium.

Delhi will get a boost in the batting and bowling department with the arrival of fast bowlers Lungi Ngidi, Mustafizur Rahman and batsman Sarfaraz Khan. All three of them have completed the three-day quarantine.

As far as Gujarat Titans is concerned, a win against Lucknow may have boosted their morale but they will now face a team that is more professional. Delhi’s batting is strong and the bowling unit is also balanced. Delhi Capitals have all the necessary tools to beat any team. So they will start as a strong contender for victory against Gujarat Titans.

Apart from this, Delhi had registered a win over Mumbai without Australia’s David Warner and Mitchell Marsh and South Africa’s Ngidi and Anrich Nortje. This shows the strength of the team and in this match, certainly, some match winning figures will be included.

While Delhi Capitals would like to strengthen their team more, Gujarat Titans would like to maintain their winning combination. Australia’s Matthew Wade, who could not convert a good start in the last match into a big innings, would like to make up for it here. Wade and Shubman Gill will open the innings and the Delhi bowlers will have to bowl tight to them.

This season the match between Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad has been played here in which Rajasthan batting first scored 210 runs and won the match by 61 runs.
