Divock Origi is scheduled to be in Italy next week for a physical and the signing of his new contract with AC Milan.

The 27-year-old Liverpool striker, Divock Origi, has been under contract with the Italian champions since March and has turned down offers from Villarreal and other clubs.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who turns 41 in October, is set to be given a new contract by Milan, although he will be sidelined for eight months following surgery to fix his left knee.

Origi might make his farewell appearance for Liverpool in the Champions League final against Real Madrid on Saturday.

The 27-year-old has only made seven Premier League appearances so far this season and will be hoping to play a bigger role for Milan.

Since joining Liverpool in 2014, Origi has scored some crucial goals. His contract expires at the end of June.

He has won the Champions League, the Premier League, the FA Cup, and the League Cup, as well as the Club World Cup and the UEFA Super Cup during his time at the club.
