Man Utd star Paul Pogba was the subject of his own Amazon Prime show, but viewers were less than impressed.
A little about the documentary
The French footballer’s documentary on Amazon Prime dropped heavily upon its release, with the former Red Devils player receiving a hopeless overall rating of 1 star on IMDB. The World Cup-winning player, who left Old Trafford on a free transfer this summer, is the latest item in a series that offers fans a glimpse into his day-to-day life. Many were left unimpressed by Paul Pogba’s offering, with viewers writing the Pogmentary into the popular online database of film, television, streaming content and video games.
The series, which runs in five parts, has not been well received by those who yearn to find out what the midfielder does and discusses when he is not on the professional football field. So far, The Pogmentary has received over 300 reviews, and few of them are very flattering. Paul is said to have delusions of grandeur, with all the “me, me, me” doing the production.
Others say the program is the worst documentary I’ve ever seen and is loaded with dross, with each episode running a little longer than one of his ridiculous hairdos. Many have also indicated that they would vote zero stars if they could.
Where will Paul Pogba play?
While the French midfielder is coming for criticism away from the pitch for his latest move into the entertainment business, Paul has yet to officially confirm where the player will apply his club trade in 2022-23. A repeat of the steps in the bianconeri has been speculated for some time now and there is an agreement that will bring him back to Turin.
The move comes six years after leaving Italy in a record £89m transfer.cThe Frenchman was supposed to be a global superstar after returning to the Red Devils, but he has struggled to convince over 226 appearances and is now ready for another new challenge.
