Eden Hazard responded to rumors suggesting he could be lined up to return to Chelsea by stating that he did not see himself far from Real.

Hazard is going to do great things for Real Madrid

The Belgian international striker has battled form and fitness for two test seasons in Spain, with little payback offered at a € 100 million show of faith. It has been reported that the Blancos are poised to cut their losses in what is shaping up to be a big summer of change, but the 30-year-old playmaker expects to return to bigger in 2021-22. Speaking about his future after contacting his country for the European Championship duty, Eden Hazard said that he does not see himself far from Real Madrid. Hazard says he has a three-year contract and when Eden is 100 percent he will bring a lot to the team and know what he has to do. Now Hazard is focused on the Euro, but after that he is going to do some great things for Real Madrid.

The League Giants invested heavily in Eden during the summer of 2019, seeing it star seven years later at Chelsea. Eden has been limited to just 43 appearances for the Blancos, with five goals scored, and continues to pick up niggling injuries with alarming regularity. This fight sparked talk of going out, repeating the steps to Stamford Bridge, but Eden is still determined to prove his worth at Santiago Bernabeu. Eden Hazard added that he had a very unlucky season and was always a very strong player when Hazard had consistency. The Belgian knows that he is close to his best level right now and hopes not to get hurt again. He has several wonderful years ahead of him.

Eden sad for Zidane’s departure

Eden will see a wiped clean slate in Madrid next season, with Zidane stepping down as head coach. It is unclear who will be brought in as his successor, with Real weighing a number of options, but those left behind will be forever grateful to the legendary French coach. About the man who grieved him, Eden said that he was sad for Zidane’s departure, he knew how and admired him. The Belgian spent two wonderful years with him and is indebted to him for not being able to give him more.
