Emerson’s departure from Barcelona

Emerson started his first Barcelona game on Sunday against Getafe and has featured in all three of the team’s La Liga Santander games this season. The 22-year-old spent two-and-a-half years at Betis after joining from Atletico Mineiro in January 2018 for 12 million euros, of which Barcelona put up six million euros. A full international with Brazil, he has four caps for his country and arrives in London with 76 La Liga Santander games under his belt, he has been a great player as a whole, and he has some remarkable plays and he is a truly respectable man with promising future in Tottenham. In Tottenham he may have great evolutionary potential, he has indeed been a good player, but with Tottenham he will get even better with time, and it’s all dependent on him, he will probably need to adapt and also overcome some obstacles in his way to becoming a part of his new team.
