Overall, West Indies lead 14-10 in T20Is against England. This tour has a long history where both teams have challenged each other on equal terms. Some close finishes, high scoring encounters, low scoring thrillers, we have witnessed a lot during West Indies vs England series in past times, something similar is expected to come again.

Knowing that T20 World Cup 2024 will be played in America and West Indies, this series for English side can be a test of their strength and weakness in a particular condition. They will need to defend their honour a few months later in similar conditions.

Cricket West Indies chief executive Johnny Grave said: “This tour will be a major economic boost to the host countries, as well as providing our fans with the chance to see some of their favourite players in action against one of our biggest rivals.

“The tour will also help with our ongoing venue preparation and event planning for one of the biggest events ever to be staged in the region, the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.”
