England v India Second ODI Highlights Lord’s 2022

India tour of England 2022: England v India Second ODI Highlights

If India were in mode of serious business in the first ODI then it was England who played classic style of cricket and won the match. England coming to bat first, struggled to sustain lasting partnerships, however, key innings from Moeen Ali, Liam Livingstone and David Willey kept England in the game.

Again, the pitch of Lord’s Cricket Ground has something to offer both teams. England found their hero in Reece Topley who troubled and disabled the Indian batting from the very first bowl. He ended up with a figure of 24 for 6 at the home of cricket. Nothing could’ve better done for him on Thursday evening.

Indian batting line-up became too defensive or maybe it was just classic attacking style of bowling that didn’t allowed them to make any progress in chase. At one stage after being 55 for 5, Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya showed some intention to bring India back in the game but unfortunately it was effort in vain as both lost their wickets under score of 30s.

ENGLAND • 246/10 (49 Overs)
