New Zealand tour of England 2022: England vs New Zealand 2nd Test Trent Bridge Day 4 Highlights 2022

Day four stayed in balance for both teams. New Zealand did well with the bat as they thought the lead over 250 will be sufficient going on day 5. Once again the stand out player for New Zealand was Daryl Mitchell who coming late to the crease, kept his temperament and composure to gain the lead.
In the top order, Will Young and Devon Conway scored half centuries to provide the solid launch pad for uncoming batters. Henry Nicholls and Tom Blundell couldn’t contribute much and again, responsibility was on Daryl Mitchell’s shoulders to which he anticipated well without taking too much risk.
Micheal Bracewell came to play an agressive cameo which the situation demanded but he couldn’t hold it for long. Brilliant plan but bad execution as he missed to select the weak link in English bowling line-up to target for runs.
England seemed happy the way concluded the innings. For New Zealand, 233 runs lead didn’t seem convincing as they know England has wherewithal to chase down such a target with ease with likes of Jonny Bairstow and Ben Stokes.
