According to former Red Devils coach, Dutch manager Erik ten Hag is the right person to help Man Utd get back in shape.

What did Eric say about Erik ten Hag?

Eric believes that with the arrival of Erik ten Hag, he will be able to restore the valuable culture of the club. The Dutchman will take the reins at Old Trafford from next season as he looks to rebuild Manchester United’s fortunes. Erik will inherit a low-faith unit and is split into divisions, but the Englishman has great faith that he is best suited for the job.

Eric Steele said he never knew so much information was coming out of Man Utd’s dressing room and into the public domain. Steele is sure that he will discipline them very quickly and will say that this should stop, which is exactly what is needed. Steele doesn’t think he will allow it. Eric added that he hoped the Dutchman would bring unity, stating that when he was there he had big characters – big players ran the dressing room and that’s what he wants.

According to Eric Steele, they want them to have faith, come every day and want to be successful, train every day to improve the club, improve the team and be successful. At the moment it seems to be a lot of people discussing, not a team.

Steele discussed the situation at Old Trafford

Elsewhere, the Englishman has criticized the combative atmosphere that seems to have developed between the players, emphasizing the lack of cohesive faith between them. Eric Steele added that there are arguments between the players on the pitch. According to Steele, the things that happened in the dressing room that came out – they just wouldn’t have happened when he was there under Sir Alex Ferguson. So the Englishman thinks they should get the culture right on and off the pitch, and he’s sure Erik ten Hag is the man to get them back where they should be: in the top four.
